Top Romney adviser shocked to learn it sucks to be a loser

Top Romney adviser shocked to learn it sucks to be a loser

by Jed Lewison

Hahahaha!

A top adviser to Mitt Romney’s failed presidential campaign on Wednesday slammed Republican officials for turning on their standard-bearer after angling for Cabinet posts only a few days earlier.

“It is stunning,” former Romney campaign official Dan Senor said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

“The Friday night before the election, we were in Cincinnati for this huge rally … Tens of thousands of people, you could feel the energy, a hundred top-tier Romney surrogates were at the event. I’m backstage with some of them, I won’t mention their names, but they’re talking about Romney like he’s Reagan. ‘His debate performances were the best performances of any Republican nominee in presidential history. He’s iconic.’ They were talking about him because they believed he was going to win in four or five days. And in fact, some of them were already talking to our transition to position themselves for a Romney cabinet.”

“I won’t say who they are,” Senor said. “They know who they are. They were on television, it was unbelievable, it was five, six days later, absolutely eviscerating him.”

Senor (full video of his appearance is below the fold) went on to say that there's "a systemic crisis" in polling. Uh, yeah, sure. As in a systemic crisis on the part of Republican political hacks to believe what polls were telling them, except, of course, for the inaccurate Rasmussen and Gallup polls. You know, come to think of it, maybe the systemic crisis isn't with polling ... but with the GOP and its epistemic closure.

He's only won one of the many elections he's run in. It may be new for a Bushie like Senor, but not for Myth.

celebrating Obama's win.

Mitt and Dan suck!

Kerry actually ran a smarter race, and really could have won with Ohio. Mitt had no chance.

McCain lost too...Republicans are sore losers and assholes.

Kerry has class.

Why wouldn't Democrats stand with John Kerry?

...is that elections are not a game. It is not my team against your team. It is about the lives of the people of this country. I hope the Republican Party can understand that and make necessary changes. Because their type of politics is not good for our country.

11. Admirable, but spoken like a Liberal. It will be tromping their collective arses that creates change

Therefore, I humbly disagree ... hired guns like Senor and Rove never "learn". They exist for the next battle and huge paycheck and hibernate until then...that's it.
