Teabagging the Queen of South Carolina

I have been watching this Benghazi ridiculousness with great interest. Benghazi was a tragedy, but the Republicans have turned it into a spectator sport. John "No, I am not Homer Simpsons father" McCain is bad enough but no one can compare to that vile piece of human detritus named Lindsey Graham. But I think I have figured out the true motivation for his misguided attacks on Susan Rice and President Obama, using the Benghazi attack as an excuse. Graham absolutely knows he is going to be challenged by the Tea Party in his state from the right, because those people are so hilariously delusional they honestly believe Graham is too liberal, which is like believing that Rush Limbaugh needs another chilidog. I believe Lindsey thought that by becoming the hero of the right-wing patriots by defeating the evil Kenyan Usurper by using Benghazi he could avoid any teabagger challenge and just slide back into his cushy Senate seat without any problems. But I think Lindsey screwed up royally. His little trick is melting before his eyes, and he is beginning to see what is going to happen when he tries to run for re-election. The Tea Party morons will use anything to get what they want and, believe me, they will throw every gay rumor about Lindsey Graham in his face to get their crazy candidate chosen during the Republican primary (if they could do it to someone like Richard Lugar, they'll do it to Lindsey). A Democrat couldn't (and, I hope, wouldn't) do this in a general election campaign, but these crazy right-wingers will, I can assure you. So I think Lindsey is scared to death because, let's face it, Ru Paul in a red-sequined cocktail dress and a pair of Silvio Ferragamo cha-cha heels looks straighter that Lindsey Graham ever could, and mercy-me-I-think-I'm-coming-down-with-a-case-of-the-vapors-we-can't-elect-one-of-THE-GAYS!
As a gay man I find Grahams behavior and situation immensely amusing. As an American who loves his country, I find his behavior despicable and near-treasonous.

Let me try to follow, you say that a Democrat would never throw around the gay rumor in a General Election, but a Republican candidate would so you are using an anti-gay slur here on DU? Got it.

Oh, you're gay, I get it. Like an African-American can use the "N"-word, you can use anti-gay slurs. Some times its hard to tell the DU'ers from the Freepers.
