I don't understand why the American public doesn't see this. The traitor is by far the worst president in our history.

(52,871 posts)The blatantly right-wing portion of it obviously so, but most of the rest of it has long enabled and legitimized it by adopting their topics and language and generally giving them respect that they in no way deserve.
Imagine if the rest of the media only referred to the right-wing propaganda network portion of the media as a right-wing propaganda network. That'd be a start, anyway....

(14,129 posts)It is likely that his administration had more corruption than all previous Presidents COMBINED. And considering some of the predecessors, that is an incredible accomplishment.
He is not just the worst President that we have had, he is probably (and hopefully), the worst POSSIBLE President - but the GOP seems to be able to say - you think that's bad? Hold my beer!...

(8,864 posts)Will be kinder to Biden. He is arguably the most successful president in the modern era. While I think his position on Gaza may tarnish his accomplishments, it should still be better than 14th.

(3,111 posts)If we can get a coalition to go FIGHT a war, what is the problem with building a coalition to STOP a war?! If Bibi is the problem, then we must find a way to sideline Bibi. Hamas is an integrated, intrenched problem. I'll admit, I have no answer for that. But I was a computer person in my career... regardless of living, eating, and basically breathing politics. Someone like Biden, who's been in politics his whole life, I would expect to have a hell of a lot more ideas and more novel ideas than I could ever dream up.
My first thought would be to vet every Palestinian as to whether they've ever been an active participant in Hammas. But the problem would in the details and specifics. Hammas got smart. They ARE the government and they now and always have presented themselves as the people. And, just like the Repugs, repeat it often enough and the world believes you. But somehow separating the active participants from the common people in order to advance a 2 state solution (which I have always believed to be the only viable solution) is a task worthy of Solomon.
I just find it so freaking strange that all these players are "People of the Book." If this is what the Book turns people into, maybe you need to throw away the book! That's said out of frustration.
What Hammas did was unthinkable, and it was planned and assisted by old enemies of ours... another freaking proxy war with Russia. And another way to divide the people of the U.S. and the world. But Bibi isn't helping Israel's cause. It's pretty blatant he's all in for genocide, and for better or worse, I'm afraid we're the only ones who can stop him... but it *looks* like the opposite. Of course that's not true, but perception is at least 90%. And that's what causes heartburn with Biden. Besides voting rights law and the Courts, this is -my- heartburn with him. I still thinks he's miles above ANYONE else for the office at this time, and I don't give a crap how old he is. I'd rather have old and experienced and tempered at the helm. Of course, I could dearly wish we had a congress willing to assist him, instead of working against him. Grrrrr

I agree he will be remembered in an even better light!

(16,973 posts)Tried again, and got a message saying it had already been downloaded. Only I can't find it in my downloads.
Then I tried going to the hosting site, brandonrottinghaus.com, and couldn't get past the homepage.
Maybe the site just doesn't like Android tablets...or something?
Edited to add: I finally decided take a chance and ignore the safety warning. (Hope I didn't harm my device somehow!) The list is fascinating.
TSF coming in dead last, behind both Buchanan and A. Johnson says volumes. It's not easy to be THAT bad!

Just letting you know. It should be removed for security purposes.

(434 posts)Trump does not have the personality to adapt to past mistakes.
Trump is incapable of any kind of self reflection.
Anybody who thinks Trump 2.0 will be an improvement is mistaken.
As someone defined insanity:
'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results'
He repeats the same behavior over and over again.
For example, this weekend, he mentioned E Jean Carroll again when he he is already been found guilty of defamation back in January 2023.
