on the issue of Trump not obeying court orders, I want someone to point out there are 61 court orders saying he lost, including the USSC but he keeps saying he won. Ack

I didn't get to see her but my friends went and were all buzz. I'd also recommend her book. In some ways it is stuff you already know but you get to see it from the republican side of the aisle. I liked it a lot.

(16,584 posts)In addition to the points you mentioned, she lays out the timeline for the televised hearings in a way I found very helpful. All those months later, it was great to have a refresher on exactly what was covered and who testified in each one that I can refer to whenever I want. I can't recommend it highly enough.

(6,865 posts)The time for kidding around is over. They made you and they can break you. You listening? Muzzle this maniac or the libs will win real big. That happens and we can't save you. Capisce?

(12,384 posts)shithole disqualified even though he has enough of the delegates to secure him to run for president on behalf of the GQP.
Before disqualification, he chooses his VP. Will the VP then become to nominee and can pick another VP.
Or, Liz Cheney can step in as the nominee because majority of the GQP leaders decide so.

(15,412 posts)it is rare but possible. We used to call them brokered conventions back in the day when there was no-one with a majority of the delegates.
I think we are all just hoping that voters will not vote for him on November 5 after hearing the evidence presented at the Jan 6 trial, or the documents trial.
But I still hold out hope that the GOP comes to its senses, that Trump drops to around 25 percent of the voters before the convention and they don't put him on the ballot. Then of course we gotta beat someone else which might be harder to do but overall safer for the nation.

(1,836 posts)would vote for anyone but Trump even in a General Election. It depends on whether their support is more for the party overall or just him in particular? I personally think for many of them it's him in particular.
Then again if they replaced him with a semi more reasonable candidate whatever normal people they still have left in their party and some independents might vote for a replacement, in the general election, but would there be enough of them to make up the difference if the we only want Trump crowd aren't willing to vote for anyone else but him?

(15,412 posts)what a mess the GOP is now. We need more Liz Cheneys.
Nope. Didn't happen. I did not get struck by lightening for saying that.
Yet.

(1,836 posts)than once but I agree with Liz at least on her condemnation of Trump, and that the 6 Terrible Sumpreme Court Injustices are enabling him.

How are Cheney, Wallace, and other (r)epuglicans going to make this country healthy? Real policy statements, not just "in two weeks..."
I don't think the (r)epuglicons have any real smart people that understand global issues on their team. They just have cheap/expensive lobbyists and legal people who have no ethics.
