Is every claim for exception going to be investigated by law enforcement? Will someone have to hire a lawyer and go to court to petition a Judge to use the exception? How long will this all take? More than the zero to six to twenty week pregnancy window they are proposing?

Citing exceptions polls better than an absolute ban, but the end results are no better.

Even if a pregnancy doesn't result, rape is so hard to convict because one can only prove sexual contact and not consent. It's a crime that typically no witnesses are around for.

Heck, sometimes I wonder why rape is against the law because hardly any rapist is caught and/or punished, anyway. Yes, I am a survivor and also now a bitter cynic. 💔
