"Judge Lets Trump Attend Son Barron's Graduation During Hush Money Trial--After Trump Blasts Judge"

rolls eyes

TOPLINE Former President Donald Trump will be able to step away from his New York hush money trial to attend his son Barron Trump’s high school graduation next month, the judge overseeing the case ruled Tuesday morning, just weeks after the 2024 GOP presidential nominee falsely claimed he was “prohibited” from attending.

New York Judge Juan Merchan ruled Tuesday he does not “think the May 17 date is a problem,” multiple outlets reported.

It remains unclear whether the trial will continue on May 17 while Trump is in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Merchan’s ruling on Tuesday comes just two weeks after Trump went on a tirade against him on social media, claiming that Merchan “prohibited” him from attending his son’s graduation, while his adult son Eric Trump labeled Merchan as “truly heartless,” even though Merchan had not yet made a decision on Trump’s request to skip the trial on the date of the ceremony.

Guess so, if that's where 'graduation' will occur.

It's in West Palm Beach and it costs $44,000 a year. For high school, the middle school is only $37,000 a year. Plus you have to provide your own laptop. It has to be a top of the line MacBook and they encourage you to get AppleCare. These kids probably don't take good care of their things.

at an important milestone in his life.

Trump will likely turn the occasion into a political rally and fundraising event because, of course, the kid's graduation is all about him, not the kid.

Expect some vile, partially coherent rants from the orange one before and after the ceremony, all about being a victim of political persecution. Wonder if Trump will give his son a graduation present or will instead expect donation presents for himself on the occasion.

Would not surprise me if Trump gave his son a really generous gift, like an expensive pair of golden gym shoes.

So he won't attend.

And Melania certainly won't want to sit next to him for hours.

And what if it rains? Oh nose!

I hope that he doesn't get booed, only for the sake of the graduates themselves. Their event should not be overshadowed by Mr. Orange's presence.

important? Imagine telling their children that Trump was at their graduation and they just accepted it and kept their mouths shut. He's going to have an entourage of security, it's not like he isn't already going to be overshadowing the proceedings. .

Will the judge give him another fine? I wouldn’t be surprised if he skips the graduation to play golf or have one of his insane rallies or fundraisers.
