if my cats are any indication of true cat behavior, my guess is mama cat here isn't hugging the kitten but making it stop moving because it's disturbing her sleep!

5. I remember my mom doing the same thing. But not with a hug, just an swat on the arm to keep me down.

That was where I learned my sneaky ways. Soon I mastered the art of getting off the bed without moving the mattress so I could escape.

It was necessary in order to perform my essential early morning rituals. Such as waiting for the test pattern on the TV to finish and see the cartoons!
