if you look at the bottom left of the screen you can see the initials ne (for northeast). its a picture taken from a planetarium program

5. Sorry, the image might be a hoax

And even if it's real, it's likely got the arrow pointing to the wrong dot. I found another copy of this same image here:

...and the text there says this is Earth, Jupiter, and Venus, in that order, from top to bottom, which actually makes a bit more sense when I look at the recent positions of the planets over the past few months.

6. If you want to feel tiny

Take a look at the "pale blue dot" taken by Voyager I in 1990. We are all on the little dot on the right hand brown streak a little more than 1/2 way down.
