I take it as a given that great spirits will eventually win over mediocre minds.

We're in a rut right now but we're still gaining ground and we're headed in the right direction. We voted Barack back in and we might even be able to vote Hillary in for 2016. Imagine that!

Yes things will better get better in the future, but will someday also cycle back to being the way they are now. The question is are you lucky enough to be born during a good cycle.

believing in the abstract potential for good in another Clinton administration.

She ruined the lives of thousands to further her career, it's much easier to ignore those ruined lives when none of them are yours. Her husband ruined the lives of millions to build his legacy.
