Josh Brent, out on $500K bail, is on the sidelines at the Dallas Cowboys game today. Really?? WTF?

He is charged with drunken vehicular homicide for driving the car in which a teammate was riding. The car crashed and the teammate killed.

Brent has drunk driving priors and, while innocent until proved guilty, the evidence does not favor him.

Who thought this was a good idea?

Not a good idea, no. But someone would be fined or otherwise punished if he wasn't there, most likely.

He is on a restricted list for the rest of the season - he needs help and is getting what he needs to get through the tragedy.

Yes, he must face up the consequences and will probably wind up in prison, but don't you think being proactive would favor the case when it comes to a plea deal (which I think is very likely because of his priors)

And you know how Jerry Jones think. I'm still watching the game, and still cannot believe the monstrosity in the middle of the field.
