one of the major differences with the English system.

The Brits accurately reported what Bloomie said, so that is not even a problem. If they understood US law, they would have called him on his 1%er nonsense

It is not in England and indeed the laws there encourage venue shopping. There have been many more than just Hersh/Perle

It is up to the seller to follow all applicable laws in regard to the sale.

Even if you wanted to end this- how could you? It's not feasible. Ban any online conversation about buying/selling/trading a gun?

I couldn't run internet ads selling cocaine, or raw milk products, or even steaks without running afoul of federal laws.

The Church owns a News website that has a classified section, were some users sell guns. It does not own an unregulated gun sale website.
