And one of the most popular things for the boys here to play with are these.



They look absolutely real and the kids point them at you and no one is ever afraid. Hell, they could take them to a city and no one would assume they are anything but toys because no one has guns except the police.

At first it freaked me out. As an American, I learned to abhor them -until I realized it is, for them, like playing with toy space guns. That's how far guns are removed from life here.

We do regulate cars and cars do get recalled on a regular basis to fix potential problems that could be deadly.

Why not regulate guns the way we regulate cars? You have have a license to own one. You have to carry insurance for it. You have register it every year. It has to have a title just like a car.

If you are going to equate cars with guns...let's treat them exactly the same.
