One person to spray him with the extinguisher and another person to tackle him from the side.

It's probably a death mission, but so is trying to hit the dude with an object in the first place.

In 1966, Charles Whitman killed 13 people in a shooting rampage at the University of Texas.

We're now at the point where these tragedies are so frequent that I think this video was a good use of taxpayer money.

And ever since VA Tech, we have a similar video that has been pushed by HR as required viewing by incoming faculty, staff, and students. So far, it seems to be optional for employees who have been here awhile. We also have instituted a more robust emergency alert system.

be a good option, but a PSA to tell you how to survive a coworker or student going apeshit.

This would be a really good example of an 'end based solution'. And while I rationally understand that this is timely information that people most likely need, I can still be a little sick to my stomach that we do.
