I do give him credit for waking up and realizing what years of enabling attitudes and policies toward guns has wrought.

That was a pretty humble speech Joe Scarborough gave this morning. And who gives a rat's ass about politics right now?

The Reagan era is over - bury it once and for all - back to civility and down with green and self-indulgence.
The public good supersedes all that BS

Hey, politics as usual, huh? Glad to see MY side, the side that I thought would be the first to come to the table has their middle finger up. That's the way to be strong. YOU GO, YOU LIBERALS, YOU!!

I don't give a fuck what his politics were yesterday or what they will be tomorrow. God, you frigging idiots. Since he doesn't agree with you on everything, you are going to toss him away when he starts to agree with you on something tragically important.

I got on here expecting to see people cheering that one of the NRA's biggest cheerleaders had done a total 180. Instead, the first post was this one and the first responses were dog piling.

Nope. I think I had it pretty much right.

I have been feeling a little over the top for the past couple of days. I just expect better from 'my' side. Knee jerk reactions do not advance anything no matter which side they happen on.
