Quit Blaming God and a "Godless" Society for Political Cowardice

If I get one more Facebook posting claiming that the lack of "God" in schools is responsible for the school massacres, I will probably end up losing half my Facebook friends.

- GOD has not been ignoring the regular reports of mass shootings.

- GOD has not allowed "background" checks to become a joke.

- GOD has not been "encouraging" the sale of semi and automatic weapons to every lunatic with a paranoid streak.

- GOD did not cut funding for mental health.

- GOD has not been funding the NRA and its minions.

The list goes on, BUT no matter what your belief structure, human beings have FREE WILL, and in a government such as ours which is run BY and FOR THE PEOPLE - that means WE THE PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALLOWING THE POLITICAL COWARDICE THAT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LATEST MASSACRE.

Personally, I am DONE with that attitude.

So, seriously, STOP BLAMING GOD. Not only is it an insult to GOD, but it PRETENDS "ONLY GOD" can solve this mess - and those who take that attitude are mentally washing their hands of SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF GUN VIOLENCE.

Human beings created this mess; human beings can fix it. The first attitude that had to change is "these things happen" - BULLSHIT.

It's Not God. It's US. And I add my voice to the ones saying, "ENOUGH!"

I believe we are responsible for this earth and our actions.

My original post is about Not Blaming God. That opinion still holds.

Interesting video, though.
