1. It's just one of their many wild rumors - they believe anything outrageous/evil about Obama.

It's almost like a game with them, to one-up each other with whoppers about how "evil" Obama is.

Except that they actually believe it.

When someone makes that claim to me, I defy them to find one direct quote by a Democratic candidate or office-holder who ever advocated banning ALL guns.
