Nancy Lanza was a victim and an accomplice

At the end if the day her son used her legally purchased weapons to kill 26 innocent lives. She had all if the responsibility to lock those things up and she didn't do it. If she hadnt been killed i would be hoping that she would be in jail for life.

and related "survival" supplies (as has been reported) could only have an incredibly deleterious effect on a son who appears to have been (at a minimum) mentally unstable.

Interesting that it has been reported that the man in China who knifed 23 children, may have done so in response to hysteria regarding end-times (Mayan calendar?)

I hope against hope we won't see more of this in coming days...

This is just compounded tragedy at every knew turn.. I simply can not get the thought of those 20 terrified children facing a mad man and his gun--nor of their teachers, fearful for themselves, but even more for the children being cut down before them.

that. I would hope she change her views on guns and realize guns are dangerous. Guns are not the end all for protecting yourself. I bring up my experience in the military again with my weapon and firing it. I didn't feel safe with it at all. It just heighten the prospect of killing some one and just was a matter of who was better at using it. If two people had a gun, it just evens the odds. Either you will get killed or the other person will be killed or serously injured because of the fire power. It is just a matter of whose better.

If that principal had a gun just like Adam, the odds would have still been in Adam's favor because of his experience and skill. If she had went against me, because I'm a military veteran and trained expert with my weapon, it still would have been in my favor is how I see it. And Adam had ( bullet proof vest) at that. He had a sem automatic-assault weapon too. She had little to no chance.
