Gandhi: You have to stand and face down the Unspeakable.

Non violently. Fearlessly.

The Unspeakable comes in many forms. Two days ago it was a school in Connecticut.

Exactly. I feel like I have aged a year in the last 4 days. All we can do is kiss our kids, and show them that there is light and love in the world.

Last night, as I watched President Obama speak, I thought that this horrible event brought the Unspeakable into sharp focus for him. In the hours since then, I've been reading through "Raids on the Unspeakable" with plans to write an essay to post on DU.

His words were so simple: This has got to stop!

And he is planning to use everything he has to make that happen. I really have a huge amount of respect for him. At the same time I really fear for his safety. He is taking on the Devil himself and that is very dangerous.

The gun people make a lot of noise. But there are millions of Americans who stand with Obama in this fight against the Unspeakable.

He doesn't bluff.
