Presumably, we're also supposed to accept people on DU supporting the Family Research Council and the Heritage Foundation. Or even the GOP. Wouldn't want to be "closed-minded", would we...

only outmatch their arrogance with their self-righteousness.

Their new strategy is to flail around the board claiming that they are some kind of "oppressed" class, being awfully put-on by people engaging in "Two-Minute Hates," and other nonsense of this kind. This from a pack of arrogant bullies who in the past have swarmed anyone who even wondered openly about their unshakable dogmas.

The truth is, they've bullied their way around this board for years. Now that their despicable tactics and arguments are failing everywhere, they go for the only pathetic tactic they have left: playing the sad victim of the "bad crowd" unreasonably yelling at them. Poor babies. They're used to getting the free pass. They feel entitled to strut about making insane proclamations without many people having the will to engage their stupidity. Not anymore.

But, Lord, how they howl when they get hit back!

I remember a conversation with him where he expressed his approval of McCarthyism, and bemoaned the "liberal exploitation" of it, because now whenever someone hears the expression, the first thing they think is "witch hunt".

Just my ironic 2 cents for the day. Hope I haven't offended anyone.

I think the problem is that people are confusing NRA supporters with anyone not supporting the complete banning of firearms in the US.

But Cousin Annie LIKES Joe McCarthy--or is she suddenly going to have a major memory lapse and forget that she ever did?
