Here is why we will not get meaningful reform. No one (yet) has found a way to make money out of banning weapons. One failed attempt at a shoe bomb - and we all have to take our shoes off - why ?? because there was a new market for scanners/ security consultants ..... We need to think of potential winners from the new law and have them partner with us - until then protest is the only option

Very good observation. Likely the 'solutions' will involve making money off of it. Look for increa$ed security mea$ure$ for $chool$, etc.

Find a way to make money off of eliminating weapons etc. After all, making money is the real root cause of all the availability etc isn't it?
