Not To Be Accused Of Being Insensitive But The Cable News Reporting On This Tragedy Seems ..

to be bordering on 'ambulance chasing' now. Since this tragedy occurred - it has been continuous coverage without let-up.

Is it just me or are others out there feeling the same way?

I realize that this is a big story - but the continuous news vigils and hashing and rehashing of all the details is starting to get to me. If it is getting to me - I can't imagine what it is doing to the parents of the children and the families of the adults that were killed in this tragedy.

These reporters are acting like vultures - just to try to get a detail that some other network doesn't have. This news frenzy seems to have contributed to all the misinformation that is being spewed about this and I don't think it is serving this community well - nor is it serving the American public in general.

I think its about time to let these people in Newtown mourn in peace.

Let them mourn without the continuous hounding by reporters. Let law enforcement do their job.

run about the victims after a tragedy, beyond learning names and ages. I do not need the media's "grief porn" to feel sad. Edit to add: I do pay attention to the perpetrators' stories, however. Not to give them any glory, but to learn and make sense of it all.

If you've ever thought about a temporary boycott, now would be the perfect time.
