A Three-Year-Old in the Family Made Us All Laugh

My cousin and his wife have two children aged five and three.

Recently, the family was holding a vote on which Christmas movie to watch.

Mom: "I vote for Miracle on 34th street."

Dad: "I vote for The Grinch Who Stole Christmas."

Five-year-old: "I vote for The Grinch."

Three-Year-Old: "I vote for Obama!"

Gotta love those babies

Off to make lots of holiday cookies with my grandbaby.

I love you, DUers.

Unfortunately she calls him Uncle Obama and because of the racist connotation of that title I hesitate to tell anyone. Peyton does not mean it in a racist way - he is like her uncle Zack. She also went to vote with us and now plays vote.

My kids (much older but still kids) are also huge fans. It's really sweet!

I've always tried my best not to force my opinions down their throats but to always add that people disagree... I may have occasionally editorialized by implying that it's the dumb people who disagree when that's the only possible explanation , but honestly I've tried not to preach but to inform. So it makes me proud that both my kids are tremendously Democratic.

How cute of Peyton! Gosh, I love little kids!
