It’s always strange to see politicians shed tears for murdered children

In all honesty, I’m never “touched” when someone like Bush or Obama or any given senator/representative displays emotion in response to domestic terror. It’s more discomfiting to me than anything. These are, after all, people who (unwittingly or not) terrorize children all over the world with their invasions and saturation bombings and drone strikes.

Do you think any of these reserved, respectable figureheads ever think, “Hell, I just did this to a few foreign kids last week? Is there something wrong with me?”

Just a query before the Holidays.
