The word "gay" is now used as a pejorative. "That's so gay" means "That's bad."

out-there, jolly, bright,
not corrupt, idiotic or trashy...actually the opposite of those words if anything- Not saying it's right but not sure the words on there are correct.

This usage is pervasive among young people now, but I think that it may have peaked and be dying out. We can hope.

it conveys "ridiculous or absurd" . It wasn't intended here as a slur anyway.
