"The charges are that when you last held power, you left the present President with the largest deficit in history, the largest debt in history, banks collapsing, people losing their homes by the millions, Wall Street in freefall, the people's confidence at zero, workers losing their jobs by the millions, and an overall sucky economy. Do you deny those charges?"
"Your Honor, we object."
"On what grounds?"
"On the grounds that it is not relevant, Your Honor. Since voters' memories have now eclipsed the statute of limitations, we ask that all charges be dropped henceforth."
