(46,416 posts)The worst commercials are any in which a woman is WAY over-enjoying: a salad, a piece of chocolate, a potato chip, etc. She has to study it, roll or close her eyes, DEVOUR it, and then give a satisfied smug smile. Yuck--creeps me out every time. And the Kit Kat "give me a break" crunching-noise jingle--that's a mute-button moment.

(45,319 posts)The NRAs diabolical ad....not posting the actual ad here, but it is the worst ad I have ever seen for anything.

When I pro drag raced in the 70's, I looked forward to the West coast and Southern trips, Carl's, Taco Bell, Perkins. Now I won't go to any. No matter how close (a Taco Bell 4 miles away).

(37,648 posts)I love the click....it's selling the click. It's catchy. And I like the click. I also like the thinness of the tablet. And the colors in the commercial. And I ALWAYS like a little dancin'. I also like that it showed different age groups using it, and using it for different reasons...school, work.
It's a good ad, I'd say.

(25,348 posts)My favorite car commercial is 5-6 ? years old.
It has this older farmer looking at his ancient auto and telling his wife: "Well, Martha...'ol betsy has finally died...I need to go to town and get us another vehicle."
He starts heading into town.
Next scene shows him is a new sports-type car (Mustang ??) zooming into the farm at 70 mph with cows a-mooing and chickens a-flying and the farmer yelling YEEEEE-HAWWWWWW.
Pretty damn funny.

(1,044 posts)The Carl's Jr. commercials where people try to eat disgusting, dripping, sloppy burgers offend me more. And I like burgers - I just don't get excited about having to wear a raincoat to eat one. They make 'em look gross.
