Airline Bans Children From First Seven Rows
(KTVI) Tired of crying babies on flights? Beginning next week, children under 12 are banned from the first seven rows of economy class on Air Asia X flights to China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Austrailia and Nepal.
The child-free area, called the quiet zone, also offers softer lighting and is sectioned off from the rest of the plane by toilets and bulkheads.
The seats will cost you an extra $30.

(7,362 posts)If I paid 30 bucks extra to be in row 7, and there was a screaming kid kicking my chair from row 8.
That being said, having kids of my own and having flown with them many times, I am quite tolerant of others in the same situation.

(20,277 posts)Little kids throw tantrums. For $30, I don't have to deal with it. I don't see anything wrong with this.
