(39,665 posts)We are the ones who are unwilling to confront the real issue -- war. Under the rubric of necessary war, Obama's "solution" is actually a good one; that's why you're seeing so much progressive support for it.
Refusing to assume war is necessary is the first step.

He had the ability to not send support to armed groups who we were suppossedly fighting against in other countries but he did not.
Yeah, Obama takes the lead with the blame. That may sound harsh but it is the truth.

A Simple Game
(9,214 posts)lesser of two evils, and was chastised for it on DU. I think it is now obvious to all but a few that I was right.
I'm not sure I can quell my conscience enough to not "waste" my vote anymore. I think we can no longer ignore what the two parties are doing to us. And yes, it is both parties.
I'm told a third party candidate can't get elected. That is only true if you don't vote for them.
