Drones are a distraction; utilizing the same policies with cruise missiles would be somehow better?

Arguing the method distracts form the real faliure of Obama, the policy of extrajudicial killing of US citizens.

7. Too simplistic. Laying the blame at Obama's feet absolves the rest of us.

We are the ones who are unwilling to confront the real issue -- war. Under the rubric of necessary war, Obama's "solution" is actually a good one; that's why you're seeing so much progressive support for it.

Refusing to assume war is necessary is the first step.

8. He had the ability to end these "wars" more quickily but he did not.

He had the ability to not send drones to bomb other countries and he did not.

He had the ability to not send support to armed groups who we were suppossedly fighting against in other countries but he did not.

Yeah, Obama takes the lead with the blame. That may sound harsh but it is the truth.

10. Sadly this is the President I voted for. I called it voting for the

lesser of two evils, and was chastised for it on DU. I think it is now obvious to all but a few that I was right.

I'm not sure I can quell my conscience enough to not "waste" my vote anymore. I think we can no longer ignore what the two parties are doing to us. And yes, it is both parties.

I'm told a third party candidate can't get elected. That is only true if you don't vote for them.
