1. Good. Obama is doing the right thing on immigration.

I remember when Bush tried to get comprehensive immigration reform passed. Seems like half of DU opposed it then. I wonder what the climate is now.

2. I thought he was doing "the right thing" as well. But each time I see a Dreamer, or someone rep-

resenting the Dreamers on my teevee, they say the POTUS deserves no credit on this issue. They think his record of deportations is atrocious, and they don't want to hear any more from this president about "enforcement". They think "enforcement" has gone too far.
Now, let me say, I had been on the fence on the immigration issue until the president stepped up. But the contempt I'm getting from the Latino voices I hear on the air, I began to wonder why the president is spending so much capital on the issue, for so little thanks.

At this point, I'm convinced that he really does believe it's "the right thing" to do.
