Drones/not

I just sent the White House an email saying:
Drones should not be used in the US until a foreign country invades us, or
Marshall Law is declared, with the exception of using the drones for
border patrol for videoing only.

(traffic light video/cameras are on the more than intrusive enough,
don't need drones shooting at us.)

Also - just to play the devil's advocate here - why are drones necessarily worse than manned aircraft, which have been used for surveillance for years?
