I find it amusing and a bit scary how easily a group of people can be directed

to look somewhere else simply by others in the "media" screaming OUTRAGE! HARUMPH!

God did make a farmer, get over it. Focus on what is IMPORTANT in this country.

First there is the Inauguration performance controversy: Did she lip-synch??? Then Super Bowl show controversy. Who Gives a flying FUCK! How many troops died in Iraq and Afghanistan while we bitched back and forth about Beyonce's faux performance?

Who gives a shit about Obama skeet shooting? Really, what the Fuck does that have to do with anything going on in America today?
How many homeless people died yesterday? (You know those people who fake being poor, asking for money all day at street corners then jumping into their well hidden luxury cars to drive off to their opulent homes)
A 3 year old playing with mommies cute pink semi auto shot herself in the face...But Beyonce and a skeet shoot photo is just too damned unacceptable to not say something, this is Christian America people!!

The president's justice Department has taken and expanded a Bush Admin policy of drone strikes. they assert they can assasinate American Citizens without benefit of warrant, trial or PROOF of imminent threat to the country OR the supposed guilt of the "suspected american terrorist SYMPATHIZER. They only have to suspect the person is a bad guy...Where is the bitching on this issue?

No, let's bitch about a skeet shoot photo op, Lip-synching and superbowl ads...

Thank God (if there is one) I have two grandkids who help me escape the ugliness and maintain my sanity. I'm going to go play legos with one now!

bye

media outlet who did make the Lip-stink controversey a news story, those who kept airing the NRA outrage of Obama shooting skeet...it was simply a distraction and it worked, it dominated news for a week!

Our bridges are still failing, there are so many potholes on the road I take to work, shootings are everyday occurrences in America, the GOP have just about shrunk the postal service so that Grover Norquist can live out his sexual fantasy of drowning a government program in his bathtub and no one is saying anything at the National level...But, Beyonce...Harrumph!

Do you really think anyone (feds don't do run of the mill meth labs) are going to use hellfire missles at +/- 70k a pop to obliterate a farmhouse or mobile home? Better the SWAT boys do their thing and get the property for forfeiture.

government official can determine on their own that an American Citizen is a threat to America and on that basis, order and carry out his/her assasination by drone without having to produce proof, bring the person before a judge, try them and PROVE that SUSPICION in a court of law is not important to you?

wow. I've heard of people being disengaged, but wow.

OWS is safe .. right now, but when a Repub is in office? What are they going to say when the Koch brothers call up and demand action.

My fiance and I are working on a non grid, and sustainable ag system for my land here in TN, I jar and can alot of fruit and veggies, and salt and smoke meat. At some points in the fall, before I start gifting and selling it I have at least 2 years worth of provisions for family of 4. To many that makes me a prepper and a threat. I am LOW/ unnoticed on the radar, but imagine a collective or CoOp that also espouses these same things, that also has members that protest, or attend "rallies" or direct action seminars ... See how easy it could be to brand one a threat?.. Look at what LE did to break up peaceful protest. Pepper spraying elderly journalists, shooting a former Marine in the head with a CS Canister.

Yeah, I trust the PTB to be judicious and responsible when no one is looking

"O'Reilly's bitching again? We can't have that, Ill just call my rep."

"When oh when will the Democrats stop annoying Rush?"

Who the hell thinks like this? The first time I heard Rush I wasn't listening to what he had to say all that stood out was the tone. I thought to myself "What the fuck is wrong with this bastard."

If the corporate tv media want to talk about it, you can trust it is a lie and distraction, so why help further it.

We won the election on the net, we should be leading the discussion on the net.

WE make the news now, this is what WE want to talk about WE the People not the stupid ass corporations.

That is what the net is for, but everyone wants to readily hand it over to corporate media talking points.

I find Du losing it's appeal because of it. People want intelligent discussion, useful information/talking points...who are these people that just want to talk about guns and beyonce? I am so fucking sick of the corporate media I want something real.
