special education and head start funding part of the sequester?

I cannot support just letting the sequester happen if these things are on the chopping block. Our education system has already been cut to the bone. Cut any further and we might as well not have a public education system. My own state has been found in violation of its own state constitution to fully fund k-12 education and now we have to worry about this. The republicans won't stand up for our kids. The democrats won't stand up for our kids. Who will stand up for our kids?

I figure that they believe students will benefit from businesses getting a larger role in the educational marketplace.
