I'm still hanging on to some hope until the Tee Vee confirms it, but I have a sinking feeling you're right.

I'm pretty confident that he would be facing a DP if convicted.

Of course, no one really knows how mentally stable he is or if he's just a cold blooded calculating sob at this point.

Listening to Al Sharpton talk about how he thought Dorner watched MSNBC and he pleaded with Dorner (if he was watching) to surrender and get his story out but then I wondered if all this hadn't happened, would he have gotten any media coverage at all?

Bad all around.

re: conditions of the "injured officers" -- so no official confirmation from the spokesperson yet. Or at least no news conference.

Not only can they arrest you for game vioations, but issue traffic citations, and enforce all other state laws...they are state law enforcement officers
