1. I had a cat that used to "answer" the phone.

I guess Sly Kitty saw me pick up the phone every time it rang and it became sort of a Pavlov's Dog (Cat?) response. The phone would ring and he'd go over and knock the receiver off the hook, then just stare at the receiver. This was back when I had a job in which I was gone 3-5 days a week. I can't tell you how many people called to tell me, "I called your house, and it sounded like someone answered your phone but there was no talking." After enough people knew what was happening it became, "Sly answered your phone again."

3. I swear to God....

My cats listen to me....

It's true, they come when I call their names, they stop doing stuff when I say stop and they move when I tell them to move. They stay in order when I feed them and they wait until all the bowls hit the ground before enjoying their meal.
