This is absolutely unprecedented. And absolutely disgusting.

So, Americans, we have a rogue party destroying our country...

It is time...don't you think?

I thought that the "improved" filibuster rules say that FORTY ONE nays are needed, instead of 60 ayes. Anybody knows?

He had the football, and fumbled. We should have silenced the GOP once and for all, but no, we play nice.

And slack-jawed Harry Reid.
This is what no filibuster reform looks like.

Hagel will be confirmed, but why do we have to go through this when a majority of 59 out of 100 Senators have voted 'yes'.

This is exactly why most Americans know that Congress is broken and dysfunctional.

Collins has said she will vote no on confirmation. I don't think Murkowski has said how she will vote.

for making this debacle possible. His masterful Leadership that lead to the "new and improved" senate rules for this year means we'll be seeing lots more of this shit before the year draws to a close.

Thanks Harry, thanks a lot.
