Not everyone who protests anything is my buddy. There's a difference between protesters or Occupy folks and folks who are, for whatever reason, hell-bent on causing mayhem and damage.
I am for constructive, nonviolent protests. A buncha people wanna dress up in black and break windows and trash things....that's not politics. That's a sports riot. Mindless.

(23,864 posts)...cleaning up the garbage the "protesters" had strewn all over the street. Picking up garbage with his bare hands and putting it back in the trash cans. Looks like he'd been out jogging. The reporter went over to him asked him what he thought about the people doing this.
"Look" he said, "I can understand their protest against globalization or whatever but breaking things...there's got to be a better way to do this."
I thought the guy was spot on. When the reporter turned away the man, a complete bystander who just happened to be out, was still picking up trash and putting it away.

Notice how they're covered most of he time? Various law enforcement agencies around the country have admitted to using agent provocateurs.
