My reply to a really over-the-top 'religious' anti-Obama email:

I'll spare you most of it.
The intro:
"How's this for apocalyptic literature. This was written by a pastor 's
wife in biblical prose as a commentary of current events.
It is brilliant."

Yeah, right.

A sample:
"He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you." My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence.
I shall save you with Hope and Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the
land that he who proceeded me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must be destroyed.

And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised
that it was good; and they believed. And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me change everything about it!"
And the people said, "Hallelujah! Change is good!"
Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats." And the people said "Sock it to them!" "And redistribute their wealth." And the people said, "Show us the money!" And the he said, "
Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody.."

My reply:

Obama as Messiah?
WOW!
Read this:

AP- April 1, 2011
Austin, TX

Ginny McCallum, 43, who has been confined to a wheelchair with muscular dystrophy for much of her adult life, came to hear President Barack Obama speak at the University of Texas graduation ceremonies.
Afterward she found herself in a wheelchair access breezeway as Obama and his entourage exited the arena. The president spotted her, came over, grabbed her hand and pulled her up. She found herself standing for the first time in eleven years.

"He smiled at me and said, 'Yes, you can,'" she says. "I was so stunned I didn't know what to do."

McCallum is among hundreds of people who say they have been healed by the Democratic president, in one of the most surprising and little-acknowledged aspects of his administration.
Reporters have shied away from the story, chalking it up to "Obama-mania" and people's feelings of elation.

"We don't talk about it a lot, but yeah, it does happen," says one staffer who preferred to be unnamed.
He says he has seen multiple people healed on a rope line.
"We don't know exactly how or why it's happening, and the President won’t talk about it.
He usually insists that people keep it quiet and just report it to their physician, pastor or priest."

Nester Todd, a 72- year-old man, was cured of "Elbillug Degenerative Disorder" after being present at an President Obama's speech at Harvard commencement exercises.
"I'm an attorney and a Harvard grad. Harvard Law, class of '59. I've never believed in this laying on of hands stuff. I thought it was some form of mass hysteria. I guess you'd have to say I'm a believer now. At least for me."

Mr. Todd is a successful trial lawyer who's main stock-in-trade is his ability to argue cases in court.
He is also a Republican representative in the Connecticut State Legislature.
He went on to say "My EDD symptoms were devastating to both my professional career and my public service responsibilities. Stuttering, uncontrollable facial tics, and incontinence. I've suffered for over five years and was at my wit's end. My practice had suffered and I was considering not running for re-election. Then I shook President Obama's hand following his speech. I was dumbstruck. I no longer stuttered. No more facial tics. And I no longer have to wear Depends. Call it what you want. I call it a miracle. Four more years? I wish the guy could serve ten more years. He's got my vote."

I got this from a woman in our neighborhood who used to send me crap like this a lot.
She takes 'right-wingnut' to a whole new level.
I nailed her with FACTS every time.
She removed me from her email list.

She must have sent this to me inadvertently.
No reply and I expect none.
And I'm sure she didn't 'get' the date.

I Googled Elbillug:

Urban Dictionary: Elbillug

One who does not believe anything. It is gullible spelled backwords, hence the opposite meaning.
