Today's Republican primary is brought to you by the number "4" and the word "Clusterfuck."
Defined as "A combination of things going extremely wrong in a short period of time, usually caused by stupidity and/or ineptitude," the term "clusterfuck" originated in Vietnam as a way of describing what happened when a bunch of troops were trying to take action with no clear idea of what any of them were actually supposed to be doing.
Proper usage:
"By the time the artillery came in the enemy was already on top of us. It was a total clusterfuck."
