Enthuuusiasm - Enthuuusiam - Thu Thu Thu Thu Thusiasm - Enthusiasm!

2/8/12

Almost six in ten Democrats, 58 percent, said they are “very excited” to vote later this year, compared to 54 percent of Republicans that said the same, according to a Public Policy Polling survey conducted for Daily Kos.

Independents and other non-Democrats and Republicans were even less thrilled about voting in November — just 40 percent of them said they were very excited to cast their ballots, while 35 percent said they were not at all excited.

In even more troubling signs for the Republican Party, 25 percent of conservatives said they are not at all excited to vote in November, compared to just 16 percent of liberals that showed the same lack of enthusiasm.

Meanwhile, the percentage of tea party voters that are very excited to vote on Election Day has seen a notable decline since July, from 73 to 62 percent. The demographic most enthusiastic about casting their ballots is the African-American community – 72 percent of them said they are very excited to vote in November.

The 58% vs 54% is pretty close to the margin of error. I was hoping it would be a better number mucifer Feb 2012 #1

We haven't really seen a campaign yet from the President and we already have 'enthusiasm' on our side which is almost all generated by the republicans' letting-it-all-hang-out campaigns. Couple that with the inching up of the economy, and the consistent lead over the republican rivals in the polls, and you have, at least, a rather solid base of supporters ready and willing to register their 'enthusiasm' in the early voting which has become more and more popular.

I'm enthusiastic about the enthusiasm.
