It is almost like a comic book. This small woman takes on bullies after bullies and smites them mightily while making very funny jokes.
And then she dances off to another adventure.

1. She's also not mean and doesn't play the victim card.

They just don't know how to deal with that. It makes them even crazier.

2. Ellen's sense of humor is amazing

I watched her show in the 90s where she owned a bookstore. During the credits they would show different takes of one scene from the show that night. I remember one where it was just her standing on some ski's while holding poles in her living room talking about what a great deal she got on them. Each time, she named a different price, but the way she did it made the audience laugh harder each time.

"I can't believe what a deal I got on these skis... eleven dollars and 23 cents!"
"I can't believe what a deal I got on these skis... FIVE BUCKS!"

etc. And it was hilarious.

Great to see how successful she's been, especially in light of the right-wing smear campaign against her.

then say they are against gay marriage.

I guess it's one of the best intern programs in Hollywood. So more power to Ellen.

Without even knowing she was gay, I just loved the show! It's sad she has to deal with the haters.
