rick santorum on contraception
Its not OK. Its a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be.

(14,177 posts)I am sick and tired of people thinking that my state is Loon(ie) Tunes just because Bachmann is a Rep. She is a Rep of the area that a lot of rich people live in, but she is not, she is most definitely not representing Minnesota.

(24,931 posts)I live in CD-5 and Ellison is my rep. I couldn't be happier that he is. So many people pile on MN because of BS Bachmann, but they forget that the largest congressional district in the state has Keith Ellison representing us.

(146,317 posts)did that. At least in Minnesota, those caucuses have nothing to do with who is actually nominated. They're completely ceremonial in nature.
Precinct caucuses have no real function when it comes to nominating presidential contacts. It's just a straw poll of the few who bother to show up at the caucuses. The actual nomination process happens at the state convention - after a primary election. Minnesota's precinct caucuses are meaningless when it comes to presidential nominations.
In fact, none of the three states things yesterday have any real bearing on the state's delegates. It's all for show.

(146,317 posts)Not one of those states had a binding caucus or primary. It's meaningless, except in terms of how things look.
