(18,497 posts)Allowing religion to dictate health care. Fine let's carry that to the extreme. Christian Scientist employers shouldn't have to supply ANY health insurance then.

(6,539 posts)We've seen how the birth control issue has been politicized while Jehovah's Witnesses (JHs) would bypass politics and just take it to court to keep from breaking God's commands.
(In the New Testament, Paul tells Christians to continue to refrain from blood which JHs believe include blood transfusions. Also note that blood transfusions, while potentially life-saving, can cause other health issues. It's their choice.)
However, they might also recognize that this hypothetical rule does not force them to take blood transfusions and they might just leave it at that. Maybe sinful and false "christian" religions will take note from the true Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses.
