There are some that are.

However, war games by the US military since the days of Clinton have demonstrated that the US will never win a war against Iran - and Iran is running the show in Syria.

The ME has been fouled by the Iraq invasion - everything is seen through that filter of Iraq with often completely f**ed up views.

but you ask a pertinent question. In fact, they probably do want another invasion, but seem to harbor desires to hit Iran instead.

PermaWar is the goal of the neocons because a war fills the bill as a "national emergency," justifying the functions of the Unitary Presidency: Abrogation of civil rights in the U.S.

Because those who were calling for intervention in Darfur aren't calling for intervention in Syria.

unraveling into something that actually poses a threat to us.

After we're totally out of Iraq, we'll end up missing Saddam in a big way. Afghanistan too.

"Iran will attack us soon!" "Iran is worse than Hitler's Germany!"

Soon enough - "Do you want the proof to be a mushroom cloud over an American city?"
