You Just Can't Win With These People

So I'm having an online discussion and some guy makes the statement, "All terrorists are Muslim."
Oh, brother. I probably shouldn't have engaged, but I simply couldn't let such a bullshit statement pass.
So I point out the FBI statistics spanning three decades that demonstrate clearly that Muslims only made up about 6% of terrorists attacks in this country, that the majority were Latino, left wing radicals, and even Jewish terrorist groups beat out Muslims. I also give him a direct link to the report on the FBI website.
He comes back with, "Well what do you define as a terrorist attack? Fort Hood? Benghazi? Boston?" and says he doesn't believe my source.
My source, sir, is the FBI. I think they know a thing or two about terrorism.
His response? "I don't trust the FBI. They have an agenda."
Yes, I told him. Their agenda is to trick you into believing that all terrorists are NOT Muslim. Ooooookay.
I managed to get out of there without my head exploding. But it was close.

is that it's dyslexic corollary is generally believed to be true, also.
Thus, it's a short jump from "All terrorists are Muslim" to "All Muslims are terrorists," which is what he probably really believes.
It's a logical fallacy, of course. All camels are mammals, but not all mammals are camels. But it's somehow "OK" to say that all terrorists are Muslim, but it would probably irritate veterans of the IRA, of the Red Brigades of Italy.
