Where's the sense of outrage?

Where is all our outrage?

Well, partially it was burned out by Bush, Cheney and their cronies.
*EVERYTHING* they touched they botched, completely.

Oh, except enriching those cronies, THAT they did just fine.

Nowadays, I think our sense of outrage is based a lot on "How does this issue affect me, directly?"

If it doesn't affect any of us directly, we have a tendency to look at an issue as pertaining to "the other guy."

That's why I'm angrier about food stamps and disability being slammed by the GOP, then I am by the NSA fiasco.

I have a hunch many of you feel likewise.
If something kills your job, outlaws what you do in your spare time, you'll be angrier than if you read about all these countries meeting behind closed doors at G8.
