(2,667 posts)I've eaten their sandwiches twice, and to be honest about it I liked their's better than a chicken sammich by any of the other fast food places. So if they'd get rid of this homophobe I'd likely as not go back some time.

(21,761 posts)I started going to Chick-Fil-A when I was in my teens and always loved 'em. In Jersey, they were in all the malls (pretty much the only place they were then) and I always got them when we went. It was a long time ago now that I first heard the owner spew some bullshit that pissed me off and stopped going... A real shame as I did like the food. Every time I see people eating the hate filled chicken, I can't help but wonder if they don't know, don't want to know or agree with the fucker... These days I tend to think they agree, he has put out so much hate over the years it is hard to believe people don't know what their money supports.

(1,237 posts)Controversy sells. His last homophobic remarks made them a lot of cash. Some how the boycott of a homophobic company was seen among the right wing as "killing free speech" and the only way to protect it was to gorge on fast food from Chik-fil-a. Watching hundreds of people waiting in line at chik-fil-a's across the country, all repeating the same line about "protecting free speech" when interviewed by reporters, was one of the most comedic things I've seen.
