I just assume everyone's drunk these days...
An ugly seven-car crash in Georgia over the July Fourth weekend led to six DUI arrests and sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries.
The chain-reaction crash occurred on Interstate 75 south of Atlanta about 4 a.m. Friday. Southbound lanes were blocked for six hours.
No one was killed, but five of the seven drivers have been charged with DUI, Atlanta's WSB-TV reports. A sixth driver will also face DUI charges after he's released from the hospital.

(12,448 posts)And why no public transportation outside the perimeter? They're just positive that those inner-city hoodlums (blacks) will use it to come out and rob them.

(653 posts)GA now even has Sunday alcohol sales at grocery, convenience, and liquor stores in most counties and/or municipalities. I'm not sure why the airport hasn't yet allowed Sunday alcohol sales though.

(111,339 posts)I'm both astonished and amused. Usually those stories come from around here, an area where we have people with DUIs in the double digits but how always seem to manage to get wrecks running to drive drunk again in.
