To all of those "pro-life" legislators:

As a result of your legislation not one man will lose any rights, too bad the same can't be said for women. No man will see his health suffer, unlike many women. No man will die as a result of this legislation, but some women most certainly will. That's a damned horrific price to pay for someone else's self-righteous sanctimony.

Sorry guys, that is my interpretation of the thinking of the people pushing reproductive slavery on women.

Why are women still treated as property in large parts of the world?

Why was the Equal Rights Amendment never ratified?

Why is it even a tiny bit controversial anywhere to suggest that women should have the same rights and freedoms as men? That women have similar brain structure, physical motivations, and aspirations as men?

How in the world can someone justify treating one human as property to another human?

Yes, I know, that slavery was once justified without any boundaries, just as a matter of power (not race or gender). But we have not risen above that until no person can be enslaved and all people have equal rights.

If not, every day needs to be an outreach to the disenfranchised to get registered.

Poor women from getting pregnant. They don't understand that when you ar poor, sex is one of the cheapest and fun ways to spend your free time, until a pregnancy occurs, of course. The idiots in the Lege don't realize they are increasing the number of poor population, and eventually the number of Democratic voters in Texas.

Fat chance many women will be voting for more of this crap. Even staunch Republican women will not want options taken away from their daughters and granddaughters. And how many young women will be of voting age next year that will vote for the first time? No way most will vote GOP, this is a deal breaker for them. Younger Americans do not share Republican "values" and view them as ancient views from the past, which should be buried permanently.

The Republicans will have to steal elections if they're going to win, because their actions on local and national levels are repulsive to most.

Hey Cons.
A fetus is NOT a baby. Got that?

Things you will NEVER hear:

Coming to our fetus shower?

What are you going to name the fetus?

"Hey there, fetus doll, let's go have a drink".

We're going shopping for a new fetus stroller.

Could you pick up some fetus powder while you're out?

Fetus elephants are the cutest!

He's just now losing his fetus teeth.

(singing) Fetus, Fetus, where did our love go? ooooOOOooo

(singing) OOoo Fetus I love your way.. wanna be with night and day..

(singing) Fetus come back, any kind of fool could see

(The Nuge "singing&quot Hey Fetus, tell me why you're hangin' 'round Ain't got time for kissin' I'm too busy messin' in this town.

(singing) I want my Fetus Back, Fetus Back, Fetus Back Ribs..

(singing) And kick them nasty thoughts, Fetus got back!

Irrespective of whether the baby is wanted or not... once that baby is born, legislators (especially in NC) have done pretty much anything they can to ensure that about 90% of the babies born have a much harder life. Even worse is if that child is already born into poverty.

The list? No Medicare expansion. Earned Income Tax Credit cut. Increased Sales Taxes. Unemployment Insurance Benefits Cuts. Federal level - cut "Food Stamps".

If supporting the above is considered "pro-life" .... sorry but looks like anti-life to me. anti-choice. anti-freedom. anti-good-neighbour. anti-christian.

Pro life isn't just being from conception to just before birth. it's from conception to grave. Anyone who says they're pro life and guts and cuts programs that help people actually live (let alone thrive) are hypocrites.
