BREAKING: Zimmerman Jury asks for clarification of Manslaughter

http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/13/justice/zimmerman-trial/index.html?hpt=hp_t1

After more than 12 hours of deliberation, the six women deliberating George Zimmerman's fate asked the court Saturday evening for clarification on the instructions regarding manslaughter, the judge said.

Looks like Murder 2 has already been rejected.

M2... and the fact that they are asking leads me to believe they are WANTING to convict on the lesser charge but may not even be able to agree on that.

but haven't decided which way to swing.

I say give the man M2, and be done with it.

They are supposed to start with the most severe charge and work their way down. So they shouldn't even discuss manslaughter until they have all decided he did not commit M2.

Probably voted early on 'most severe charge,' and without unanimity, studying their options.

At least one juror believing that George Zimmerman is guilty and should face at least some consequences for killing Trayvon Martin. That also indicates that acquittal is looking like less and less of an option.

the majority of the jurors want Murder 2, but one or two jurors feel Zimmerman's actions might be closer to the level of manslaughter and they need clarification to either bring the majority with them or for them to jump up a level to avoid a hung jury.

I do remember several posts where I post about civil rights. I may have even said I doubted a Murder 2 Conviction. But I never said acquittal. I predicted a lesser charge. But not acquittal. Thanks for playing though.
