It might be a quick verdict and expected it last night. We're clearly past that point. It'll be in when it's in. BTW, have they left for the night yet?

If they were nowhere near a verdict, they might have left for dinner instead of staying.

Perhaps they asked a question to clear up one or two last things.

This is of course just speculation. It could happen in 30 minutes, it could take a few days.
